Up for sale is a good example of a Pre War production Roth 1907 pistol also known as a Roth Steyr or Roth Krnka. The gun was produced by FEG Budapest with 1912 acceptance stamp. The gun is fully functional with a clean bore and has a nice desirable unit marking to the 49th infantry regiment, which saw service early in the war in the Galician Campaign fighting in the Carpathian Mountains. Later in 1917-1918 the unit saw service in the Italian front and use during the Breakthrough at the battle of Caporetto in October 1917. Overall, a great handgun for a WW1 collection.
