Up for sale is a good condition almost all matching Bavarian Stamped Gewehr 98 rifle made in 1914. The gun was produced by the Amberg Arsenal and has a Bavarian stamp next to the serial number. It is almost all matching with only 1 part mismatched which is the stock. The top wood handguard, Butt plate, bottom metal, barrel bands, and all other components match. It's likely a depot rework when the old stock was damaged. The gun also has a Naval marked stock and unit marking to the Danzig Dockyard. Overall an excellent Navy Gewehr 98 rifle from WW1 that will make a great addition to a collection.
